Kerry Blue Travel Photos

Here are some pictures of Toby taken this summer in Colorado. Toby, Laurie, my daughter-in-law, her yellow Lab and myself hiked to the top of Shrine Pass,11,089 ft, for my 60th birthday. Both Kerries were off lead the whole time. Toby carried the backpack containing water and snacks for himself and Laurie. Both doggies are very good hikers. Toby likes to lead. He will run ahead, then wait for the rest of us to catch up. He has gotten much more confidant. He doesn't shy away from strangers we meet on the trail as he used to do. He stays close but is usually standing behind me.

He has become a "love bug". His head is at the same level as my hand when it hangs at my side. He is constantly placing his head under my hand for scritches and attention.

I went to Suzzara, Italy looking for Kerrry breeder Roberto Tasselli. While asking for directions, a woman walks by with a dog. I look and ask (in Italian) if it was a kerry. She came over and the kerry reached into the car to greet me. She got the dog from Roberto.

Roxy, 2 years in this picture, goes on every ride with us all over our state of Utah.
This picture is taken at Silver Reef -- 20 miles North of St George, UT. 
She not only wears a harness and is tethered to the dune buggy, but the "Doggles" really protect her eyes. 
The hardest part is getting the fall out of the way to put the goggles on. 
The "unicorn" approarch works best.
