Borrow Our Cart

Through a generous donation from Dorothy Nuess, the Foundation has received a cart used by her Kerry who died of complications caused by Degenerative Myelopathy.

Dorothy Nuess lost her Chloe early in 2003, and donated the cart to be loaned to other Kerries with weak or lame hindquarters.

The cart is manufactured by Doggon Wheels and is in good shape. It includes the manual to customize the fit to the individual dog using it within certain size limitations. Chloe was an average size female. The cart cannot be adjusted to fit large males or exceptionally small females.

If you have a Kerry with DM, or any other situation requiring partial or complete hindquarter support, but are financially strapped, please email the Foundation's Health & Genetics Director or President.
