KFT German Junior Champion, “ERIKAL’S BLUES IN THE NIGHT “,
called “Clancy” arrived in Germany on April 24th 1992 as a puppy
of four months.
Right from the beginning we enjoyed the lively Kerry boy very much and still
do today. We especially admired his sound personality and aloof behavior.
He had a weakness. He disliked to being alone in the house, except the kitchen.
This little thief knew he could always find something to steal and eat,
such as a whole pot of rice or chicken. He never missed to rummage through
the super smelling garbage can or sacks. Who knows this might be Clancy’s
secret formula of longevity.
By the time this little “Don Juan” was eight months old, he
successfully performed an unscheduled breeding with one of our Kerry girl,
we thought had finished her heat cycle, but Clancy knew better. From this
litter of six, one puppy excelled very fast in conformation shows. “ATILLA
ZUR SALIERGRUFT” earned many European titles and Intl. Champion. Clancy
continued to sire many litters of beautiful and sound Kerries with different
bitches. A great number of his get finished successfully with many titles
in European shows.
Again I like to thank the breeders, Erika Ash, (aka Kalogeras), and George
Kalogeras for the privilege to own this charming and lovable Kerry Blue
Terrier for so many years. I hope that our Clancy will stay with me for
little while longer.
