The Big Huntby Sharon Burnett Last night I came home after a longer than normal day at work. The sun was out, which is unusual for the Pacific Northwest in April. I was suffering from Washingtonian sun-deprivation.. Glad to be home, anxious to play with Rascal, my Kerry Blue and Hoover, a Miniature Schnauzer. I unlocked the front door to the house and opened it up expecting to see my babies hopping up and down in back of the baby gate. Not!
I fed the dogs their dinner and then proceeded to get out their favorite outside toys. Soccer? Bubble blowing? Oh, we'll just have fun! Looking out the kitchen window, I didn't see either dog. Concerned, I ran out the door only to find the two of them stretched out, laying in the sun sleeping. Poor guys! They really had a work out! So, I let sleeping dogs lay as they say and sat on the porch by myself.
